Martinez's Equalizer Earns Girona a Point in Draw with Elche

Wrapping up the regular season, Girona finished in 19th place and Elche in 15th.

Elche led 1-0 at half-time in their La Liga away game against Girona, courtesy of Álvaro Rodríguez's goal. However, Girona clawed their way back into the game in the second half, with Arnau Martínez scoring the equalizer. The match finished 1-1.

Straight after the break, Arnau Martínez found the net and equalised for Girona.

Elche took the lead in the 39th minute thanks to a goal by Álvaro Rodríguez, with an assist by Pedro Bigas, ending the goalless stretch.
