Valencia's Strong Second-Half Showing Overpowers FC Barcelona

The La Liga battle between Valencia and FC Barcelona kicked off with a goalless first half at Estadio de Mestalla on Saturday. However, FC Barcelona's dominant second-half display propelled them to a convincing 3-1 triumph.

The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 61st minute before Robert Lewandowski netted, with an assist by Ferran Torres, to give FC Barcelona the lead.

In the 66th minute, Javi Guerra equalised for Valencia.

Luis Rioja just five minutes later, ensuring Valencia took the lead.

The 3-1 goal came in extra time, when Guido Rodríguez found the net for Valencia to complete Valencia's come back.

The results in the final round mean Valencia finish ninth and FC Barcelona finish first.
